Authorities are searching a wooded area of West Roxbury for a woman who vanished ten years ago.Boston police said investigators began searching the area near Enneking Parkway on Wednesday. Media footage from the scene shows suit-clad investigators using shovels and a backhoe digging in the wooded area.“The subject of the search is believed to be an adult female who was reported missing in Boston in October 2007,” Boston police spokesman Stephen McNulty said in a statement to Boston.com. The FBI and state police are assisting the department with the search, he said. The missing woman’s name was not released.
