Police arrest second suspect in connection to death of 18-year-old East Boston woman
Boston police have arrested a second suspect in the killing of an 18-year-old woman found dead in an East Boston garage in June.
Police said members of the department’s fugitive unit located 21-year-old Angel Ramos of East Boston near 28 Saratoga St. on Friday. Ramos was charged with murder and will appear in East Boston Municipal Court, according to police.
Police previously arrested and charged an East Boston teen with the murder of Blanca Lainez, whose body was found by construction workers in a garage on Princeton Street June 15. Authorities determined Lainez, who left El Salvador at 16 and most recently lived in Chelsea, suffered stab wounds and blunt force injuries.
