Police officer makes it his duty to save boy’s soccer ball
A little boy was reunited with his soccer ball after a police officer made it his duty to save it from a river.
When a boy dropped his ball in the Souhegan River at Keyes Memorial Field in Milford, N.H. during a Fourth of July fireworks display, a Milford police officer wasted no time wading in to retrieve it. The ball had the potential to travel quite far from its owner — the river is 34 miles long.
The Milford Police Department posted this photo to Facebook of Officer Bailey going after the ball while the little boy watched.
