Mega Millions jackpot increases to $454 million
The Mega Millions jackpot is even higher this week.
Tuesday night’s game will pay $454 million. The cash option on the prize is about $319 million.
The pot has been growing for 33 consecutive drawings without a top prize winner, according to the Massachusetts State Lottery.
The Mega Millions game hasn’t had a winner since March 8. The $449 million prize is the game’s highest since a $636 million jackpot was offered in 2013. The highest-ever Mega Millions jackpot was $656 million, won in 2012.
Tickets cost $1 each. Mega Millions drawings are held every Tuesday and Friday at 11 p.m.
