Police: Man exposed himself near Tufts campus
A man exposed himself in a car near a Tufts University soccer field on Tuesday, according to authorities.
Tufts University police said in an online safety notice that a student was walking near the field on College Avenue around 2 p.m. when she saw the man exposing himself in a parked car.
“The victim described the suspect as a white male, 20 to 30 years of age, wearing a blue shirt,” police said.
The vehicle was described as an older model four-door grey sedan.
University and Somerville police are investigating a similar incident reported in the area on May 14, Tufts police said. The department warned students to remain alert and to avoid and report suspicious persons.
Anyone with information is asked to contact Tufts police at 617-627-3030 or Somerville police at 617-625-1600.
