Brown, a junior at Jeremiah E. Burke High School, was remembered by classmates and speakers at the school’s graduation ceremony Friday night. Friends and family have described the teen as a respectful and fun-loving student.

“We as the Burke community all have heavy hearts after the lost of [our] good friend Raekwon Brown and would like to do whatever it takes to make this easier on his family,” the students wrote on the YouCaring page. “We hope you find it in your heart to help out any donation can go a long way!”
