A man wanted in connection with a stabbing jumped out of a third-floor window to escape police
The suspect is still at large.
Police say a man wanted in connection with a stabbing barricaded himself in his Roslindale apartment building for hours before jumping from a third-floor window to escape police, reports The Boston Globe. The suspect is still at large.
“We’ll find this individual,’’ Superintendent Bernie O’Rourke told the Globe.
Police arrived at the Archdale Village housing development at about 5:30 p.m. Monday. After that, a standoff took place between the suspect and police. O’Rourke told the Globe that officers were there to serve the suspect an arrest warrant in connection with a stabbing. O’Rourke said he was not sure when the stabbing had occurred, but it was not fatal.
O’Rourke told the Globe that a witness saw the suspect eventually jump from a third-floor window and flee. Police cleared the scene by 9 p.m.
