What Did Aaron Hernandez Say the Moment He Was Found Guilty?

It was a stunning moment of incredulity, captured in one Vine.

Aaron Hernandez was largely stoic during the verdict reading, in which he was found guilty on all counts in the June 17, 2013 killing of Odin Lloyd. His demeanor was casual during the trial itself, and this was a calculated attempt to appear more human, according to legal experts.

But for one moment, there was no veneer of stoicism. Nor was there a strategy.

Following his conviction, the former Patriot shook his head in disbelief. According to Peter Wilson, Managing Editor of WBZ-TV in Boston, Hernandez appeared to mouth the word, “Wrong.’’

Hernandez would later be sentenced to life in prison without the possibility of parole.
