Two people were stabbed Tuesday morning at a hummus facility in Haverhill, police said.
Police found two people suffering from stab wounds at the Cedar’s Mediterranean Foods facility on Foundation Avenue, the Haverhill Police Department said in a social media post.
Both people were brought to local hospitals with serious injuries, police said.
A preliminary investigation suggested the people involved know each other, the department said.
There is no ongoing threat to the public, and the incident remains under investigation, Haverhill police said.
“At this time we do not have anything further to add to the statement made by the Haverhill Police Department,” a spokesperson for Cedar’s said in an email Tuesday night.
Anyone with information is encouraged to contact the Haverhill Police Department at 978-373-1212, police said.
