2 Portland Banks Robbed by Men in Old Man Masks
Police in Portland, Maine are investigating two bank robberies that occurred within 15 minutes of each other on Friday.
According to police, the two robbers took every precaution with their disguises, wearing what appear to be fairly elaborate old man masks. They even threw sunglasses and hats over their wrinkly costumes.
After demanding cash from tellers at one Key Bank branch in Portland, the men fled on foot and robbed another branch three miles north. They never disaplyed any weapons, according to police.
The men ditched a dye packed that was activated after the second robbery and hopped into a getaway car parked behind the bank, said Police in a statement.
