Police Search for Man Seen Jumping From Bridge Into Charles
Authorities responded to a report of a man seen jumping into the Charles River but were unable to find anyone in the water Saturday evening.
Members of the State Police Marine Unit, Cambridge Fire Department and Boston Rescue arrived at the Anderson Memorial Bridge in Brighton around 5 p.m.
Authorities briefly closed the southbound lane of the bridge for the search operation, though it has since re-opened.
