Four Vt. schools seek to involve more girls in science
Four Vermont schools will be participating in a program designed to get more girls interested in science, technology, engineering, and math. The Vermont Education Agency is providing $2,000 grants for schools in Barre, Essex, Middlebury, and Newport to help develop programs that would be shared with other schools. Matching grants are sought. Educators will receive professional development and technical assistance and access to ideas from a national network through The National Alliance for Partnerships in Equity.
