New Hampshire authorities still seeking info on bodies found in barrels years ago

ALLENSTOWN, N.H. (AP) — Local, state and federal law enforcement officers are still searching for clues in a New Hampshire town where two barrels containing four bodies were found years ago.

WMUR-TV reports authorities searched the woods of Bear Brook State Park in Allenstown on Wednesday in the same area where the barrels containing the bodies were found in 1985 and 2000.

The search came three months after the New Hampshire Attorney General’s office announced investigators believe they know who the killer is — a man with multiple aliases who was known as Robert Evans during his time in New Hampshire. Evans died in prison in 2010.

Allenstown administrator Shaun Mulholland, also the town’s former police chief, says that until investigators get to the bottom of the case, questions will linger.
