17-year-old arrested in connection to violent home invasion, stabbing in Beverly

A Beverly teen was arrested Wednesday in connection to a violent home invasion that left one man hospitalized, authorities said.

Beverly police said officers responded to 62 Livingstone Ave. for a report that a person had been stabbed multiple times. The officers found a 25-year-old man suffering from stab wounds to his arm and torso. He was treated at the scene before being transported to Beverly Hospital, according to police.

No other information about his condition was available.

Police said they learned a 17-year-old entered the victim’s home and demanded money before stabbing him and fleeing the residence. With assistance from the Salem and Danvers police K-9 units, officers tracked the teen to a nearby backyard where he was arrested.
