Maine police officer detains 2 cows ‘menacing cars’ in the road
A Maine police officer tried to detain two “angry cows” on the road Thursday that were reportedly “menacing” passing cars. The Windham Police Department posted a video of the incident on Facebook, in which the officer narrates his attempt to apprehend the capering cattle.“Alright you guys, I need you to step over to the side of the road, put your hands up in the air,” Officer MacVane said. “Don’t run from me, I’m the police!”The officer ordered the meandering cows to “get down on the ground” and “stop resisting.”

MacVane told Inside Edition he chased the cows, which had escaped through a fence, off the road and they were later retrieved by a local farmer.
“The whole scenario is sort of an opportunity for me to humanize our uniform, to give our uniforms a face and a personality,” he told the program.
