Your food shopping is about to be next level. The Boston Public Market is introducing weekly “Sip & Shop” nights, during which customers can do exactly that: sip while they shop.

Beginning Thursday, Jan. 19, BPM vendors will run a pop-up bar to serve local beverages to visitors ages 21-plus every Thursday and Friday evening from 5 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.

At the inaugural event, craft beer aggregator Hopsters Alley will sell the Newtonian and Comet Citra brews they handcraft at their Newton brewery, while the Massachusetts Wine Shop will have a bevy of regionally sourced reds, whites, and rosés on hand.

The concept is set to continue throughout the end of March, providing plenty of opportunity for you to turn your to-do list into a good time.

“The series gives us a chance to test the waters and customer interest while adding a fun, new component to grocery shopping and Market exploring this winter,” said BPM CEO Cheryl Cronin in a press release.
