A tropical, tarty Polar Seltzer flavor is hitting stores

Forget that it’s February for a second — Polar Seltzer just released a new tropical flavor.
The Worcester-based beverage company says Pineapple Pomelo is “like grapefruit, but sexier.”

A pomelo is a citrus fruit that’s similar to a grapefruit.
“Its a touch of tropical, a touch tarty and a whole lot of tingle,” said a company representative via email about the new flavor.
Pineapple Pomelo is a permanent addition to the company’s seltzer lineup, unlike the limited-edition flavors Dragon Whispers, Mermaid Songs, and Yeti Mischief that were released over the summer. It comes in one-liter bottles, and was shipped to stores on Feb. 2.
