Not to brag or anything, but they’re making a movie about some cool people I know. OK, don’t really know — but I pass them in the Globe cafeteria every so often.
Spotlight, the upcoming drama based on The Boston Globe’s 2002 coverage of the Massachusetts Catholic church sex abuse scandal, arrives in theaters November 6.
Our first look at the trailer puts its heavy-hitting cast — Michael Keaton, Mark Ruffalo, John Slattery, Rachel McAdams, Liev Schreiber — in the thick of things as they struggle to crack a story that exposes the sins of one of the most powerful institutions in the world.
