Shakira and Harrison Ford spotted (separately) around Boston
Shakira continued exploring Boston over the weekend.
Last week, she was spotted dining in the North End and checking out the Museum of Science. On Friday night, she went full Boston tourist and brought her family — including her husband, soccer player Gerard Pique — to Blue Man Group. (The family is here because Pique is studying at Harvard Business School this summer.)
The other big name in town was actor Harrison Ford. The “Star Wars’’ hero visited Newbury Street, watched street performers near Faneuil Hall, and hit a bunch of other Boston spots, according fans on social media. Pole vault champion Jenn Suhr, who was also in town, tweeted, “You know. Just sitting @Starbucksoutside in Boston watching Harrison Ford walk by. #toshytogetapicture.’’ @poeboston tweeted, “Saw Harrison Ford strolling through Boston Common this morning.’’
Abby Rice, a producer at WMUR9, came up with this one-liner: “Walked 3 hours around Boston on the Freedom Trail and the best relic I saw was Harrison Ford.’’
