Jake Gyllenhaal shares a sweet first look at ‘Stronger’

Jake Gyllenhaal shared the first look at the upcoming movie Stronger on his Facebook page Thursday, with Gyllenhaal and actress Tatiana Maslany sharing a tender moment as Marathon bombing survivor Jeff Bauman and his wife Erin Hurley.

Based on the autobiographical book of the same name, Stronger tells the story of Bauman, a Chelmsford native who was at the finish line waiting for his then-girlfriend Hurley to finish the Marathon in 2013 when the bombs went off, taking both of his legs.
The film has been shooting all around the city over the past couple of months, including an emotional scene at a Bruins game in April and a ceremonial first pitch at Fenway Park on Marathon Monday.
Bauman and Hurley were recently seen sharing a loving embrace at the finish line after Hurley completed her first Marathon since 2013 in a little under six hours.
