Does Bill O’Reilly have any black friends?

Fox and (Black?) Friends is more like it.

Fox News’ Bill O’Reilly Globe File

“So how many black friends do you have?’’

This was the question posed to Fox News television personality Bill O’Reilly during a discussion with guests Kirsten Powers and Monica Crowley, in which the host accused President Obama and liberals of painting the nation as racist.

O’Reilly’s response wasn’t really on-topic at all, as he fired back, “if you think most Americans are racist, I’m ashamed of you. I’m ashamed of you.’’

Powers, who seemed a bit taken aback that the host dodged the question, returned fire and said that she “didn’t say most Americans were racist.’’ O’Reilly predictably disagreed.

You can watch the exchange below. The question is posed around 4:36.

Beyond the fact that O’Reilly seems to miss the point early on, the saddest part is that we never find out if he has any black friends.
