12 Months of Cats for 2015. Meow.

Levon, a former stray, is this year’s Mr. March in the 2015 Tufts Cat Calendar. Jacqueline Rich

The annual Tufts Cat Calendar is out, with enough frisky felines to keep cat lovers happy all year long.

The winners have names like Mr. Bolivar, T.S. Eliot, Elvis, and Carlos (who graces October dressed as a lobster).

This year, cat owners submitted more than 150 photos of their feline friends and 71 were chosen for the calendar. The calendar raises money for the “Cat Club,’’ which plans events for Cummings School veterinary students such as field trips, cat nutrition talks, labs on cat handling and dental procedures, and more.

Last year, the calendars raised more than $700 for the Cat Club.

January: Mr. Bolivar

January’s Mr. Bolivar loves wearing sweaters.

Mr. Bolivar, also known as “Boli,’’ is owned by Kyle Black, who got him as a 3-month-old kitten in July, 2012.

The Persian cat loves wearing sweaters and has several themed ones, including Santa Claus (which he’s modeling in this photo) and pumpkin.

A cat that actually likes wearing clothes?

“He has never minded wearing them,’’ said Black.

Looking dapper, Mr. Bolivar!

February: Cattleya and Huckleberry

Aw. Sibling love.

These cuddly cats are now adults. But when these siblings were kittens, they’d routinely fall asleep on each other while grooming.

Just look at them all snuggled up together! We love their intertwined bodies and perfectly content looks on their little faces.

And adulthood has not slowed them down, according to their owner, Sarah Dowling.

They still “chase each other around and cuddle often,’’ Dowling said.

Aww! Sibling love.

March: Levon

Levon was a sick stray who found a loving home.

Levon was adopted from the Foster Hospital for Small Animals. Though he was a sick stray, his confidence was unmistakable, said owner Elizabeth Kulik.

He’s so confident, “he has no trouble stealing entire chicken breasts or sausages off the stove if no one is watching!’’ said Kulik.

April: Elphie

Elphie was adopted by Abigail McElroy four years ago while on medical leave from college.

When McElroy returned to school, she brought Elphie with her. Elphie, unfortunately, wound up having many health problems of her own. Good thing she had a loving owner who would take good care of her and get her the medical attention she needed.

Elphie actually wound up becoming the first therapy animal allowed to live on the Smith College campus, according to McElroy.

Go Elphie!

May: Vito

Vito was rescued from a barn in rural Michigan.

Whitney Allen pulled her kitty out from under a barn in rural Michigan while completing her undergraduate degree.

“He was 4 weeks old, riddled with fleas and ear mites, and very dirty,’’ said Allen.

The cat has been by Allen’s side for the past six years and through moves across three states. He’s come a long way.

“Vito truly feels he is king of everything,’’ said Allen.

June: T.S. Eliot

T.S. Eliot was named after his owner’s favorite poet.

This cat’s owner, Brenda Tilley, has a fondness for cat poems, especially “The Naming of Cats’’ by T.S. Eliot. Are you surprised?

Tilley adopted T.S. Eliot, a siamese cat, from someone at Tufts.

July: Wally

Wally loves “watching the world go by.’’

Wally is a cat that acts like a dog. He comes when called, fetches, “speaks,’’ and jumps up and down on command.

Wally, who was rescued from a hoarding situation, was adopted by Meghan Fitzpatrick.

“I love catching him in his element,’’ said Fitzpatrick. “He really enjoys watching the world go by.’’

August: Vladimir

Vladimir is a pure-bred Peterbald cat.

Vladimir is a pure-bred Peterbald with plenty of characteristic wrinkles.

Peterbald cats are active cats that love attention and are very affectionate.

According to his owner Lori Prantil, his breeder didn’t want him because the 4-year-old cat had chronic eye infections.

Vladimir found a loving owner in Prantil, who cleared up his eye infections with proper treatment.

We’re glad you are healthy, Vladimir!

September: Sadie

Sadie loves leaves.

Sadie likes fall.

She likes it so much that she had a hard time holding still for this photo.

“It was hard to get the shot because she kept chasing every leaf that fell from the trees and wouldn’t stay still,’’ said owner Calli Coffee.

Silly kitty!

October: Carlos

Carlos the lobster.

Carlos proved himself a Boston cat by dressing up as a lobster for Halloween. And, like Mr. Bolivar, he didn’t mind it one bit. Perhaps it’s time to toss out the notion that cats hate clothes?

“I thought it would be impossible to put on, and that he would rip it off immediately,’’ said his owner, Kate Graves. “But he just continued to play with his toys.’’

We wonder what Carlos will dress up as next year?

A Red Sox player? Or maybe one of our famous swans? We’re sure it will be fabulous.

November: Ceci

Ceci found the perfect nap spot.

Shhhh! Ceci is sleeping.

Cats have a way of finding the most cozy spots to snooze in, don’t they?

Ceci found her spot in this straw waste basket, which she tipped over herself for easier napping access. Don’t underestimate a cat on a mission!

“She would go in there all on her own to snooze while I studied,’’ said her owner Gabriela Villanueva.

We’ re just glad it’s a nice clean waste basket.

Sweet dreams, Ceci.

December: Elvis

Elvis is on the hunt.

Elvis suffered from a broken pelvis when the homeless cat was brought to the Foster Animal Hospital. Experts assumed he’d been hit by a car. According to his owner, Erica Levin, he’s been moving just fine ever since. She lovingly calls him “trouble,’’ and said this picture was taken just before he tried to remove the ornaments from her tree.

Happy 2015 to you and your furry friends!
