This New England state is the best for snow, according to Boston.com readers
"Best natural snowfall in all of New England."
USA Today readers recently named three New England spots among the best destinations in America for snow so we asked readers which regional state reigns supreme when it comes to the white stuff.
USA Today‘s list named Caribou, Maine No. 2, Stowe, Vermont No. 3, and North Conway, N.H. No. 4 (The No. 1 destination was the Upper Peninsula of Michigan).
Boston.com readers named Vermont as the top spot for snow in New England. The Green Mountain State was chosen by 43 percent of readers.
“Best natural snowfall in all of New England,” wrote Mike from southern New Hampshire.
Nick from Marblehead called Vermont a “no brainer” because it has “more snow than all the rest combined some years.”

The runner-up was New Hampshire, with 24 percent of the vote.
“It is the best state to learn how to ski,” wrote Ryan of Conway, N.H.
Maine came in third place, with 22 percent of the vote.
“Northern Maine rivals Colorado for excellent snow coverage in the winter,” wrote Anabel from Lexington.
