I am running my first marathon to support Michael’s Lisnow Respite Center in Hopkinton. This center has profoundly impacted our community by providing essential emotional and physical support to families with disabilities. It offers a sanctuary where these families can find respite and a sense of community. Inspired by a tradition at Homesite Insurance, where an employee has participated in the marathon for the past three years to support this cause, I felt compelled to contribute as well.

Although I have completed two Boston Athletic Association half marathons, this will be my first full marathon. The challenge is significant, but the cause is close to my heart, and that gives me all the motivation I need to push through.
