I always say that working for Dana-Farber is like working for Disney. There is something magical about the work we do. You can feel it when you walk into the Institute, in each interaction you have with faculty/staff, and at every Jimmy Fund event. Dana-Farber Marathon Challenge is no exception.
Since I started working for Dana-Farber in 2022, I have seen the immense progress we have made towards creating a world free from the burden of cancer, and I have had the opportunity to meet countless patients and families. I am constantly in awe of the dedication my colleagues, donors, and volunteers have towards our mission, and I am inspired by each of them to personally raise money for our research and care. I am ecstatic to run for Dana-Farber in the 129th Boston Marathon this April.
One hundred percent of every dollar raised by the DFMC team supports the Claudia Adams Barr Program in Innovative Basic Cancer Research at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute. The Barr Program fuels basic cancer research, which enables scientists at the leading edge of discovery to achieve better cure rates and to enhance patients’ quality of life. More information about The Barr Program’s projects can be found here.
Please consider donating to my page and/or sharing the link with your networks. I very much appreciate your support. Together, we’re headed toward the ultimate finish line: a world without cancer.
