What Small SUV Would You Recommend?
Q. We are a growing family looking for a more family-oriented vehicle than the two-door VW Golf that I currently drive. I’m essentially scarred for life from a childhood of driving in a minivan, and my wife is dead-set against one as well. We are looking for something economical, perhaps a small SUV; that has a nice ride, with a third row seat, and it should get good MPG. Can you offer an opinion on something you would recommend?
A. There are several mid-sized SUVs that would fit your criteria. The Hyundai Sante Fe, Chevrolet Traverse and the Toyota Highlander all have seats for up to seven passengers and would all make a good choice for your growing family.
