Vehicles at the International Geneva Motor Show

One of the world’s biggest auto shows opens this Thursday in Geneva, Switzerland. Journalists were allowed in early, for the March 5 and 6 media days. The International Geneva Motor Show was first held during the spring of 1905 and has grown to include 260 exhibitors from 30 countries. Check out some of the vehicles at the show.

The new Spyker B6 Venator Concept was shown during the press day at the show. It’s a two door, two-seater that will sell for between $125,000 and $150,000. It has a carbon-fiber body, mesh grille, and glass roof.

The new KTM X-Bow GT made its world premiere at the Geneva Motor Show. The Austrian automaker describes this vehicle as the “super spoarts car’’ for the 21st century. It has racing DNA and a top speed of 143 miles per hour.

A Toyota i-Road is presented at the Toyota booth during the second media day. This two-seater produces zero emissions.

A Fisker Karma electric car made an appearance at the show. This car has an mid-mounted lithium-ion battery pack and a full length solar roof for extended range. Its total range is up to 300 miles and top speed is 125 miles per hour.

The Renault Captur is an urban crossover with a two-tone color scheme. Standard equipment in the Captur includes hill start assist, hands-free enty, and rear parking sensors.

The McLaren P1 hybrid supercar sells for $1.3 million. It’s made from carbon fiber and can go from 0 to 180 miles per hours in less than 17 seconds.

The new Spania GTA Spano can achieve speeds over 215 miles per hour. The car has a 8.4-liter V10 engine. and a chassis made of carbon fiber, titanium, and Kevlar. It has a panoramic glass roof.

The new LaFerrari hybrid made its world premiere at the show. Its Ferrari’s first car to be power by the manufacturer’s hybrid HY-KERS system. Its maximum speed is more than 215 miles per hour.

The new Agera S Hundra from Swedish manufacturer Koenigsegg was unveiled at the show. The Hundra (Swedish for 100) has “artisan hand laid and swirled, 24 carat gold leaf inlays,’’ according to the company’s website.

Mercedes-Benz presented its new A 45 AMG at the show. The car marks 45 years of Mercedes’ high performance AMG brand. It has a 2.0-liter four-cylinder turbo engine and AMG Speedshift DCT 7-speed sports transmission with dual clutch technology.

The new Wiesmann GT MF4-CS is the club sport version of the German manufacturer’s GT MF4-S. It will be available in a limited run of 25 cars.

The new Volvo V60 has rear seats that can be folded down in 40/20/40 segments, allowing easy use of the vehicle’s cargo space. It is available with 19-inch wheels and the Adaptive Digital Display.

The new Fornasari Gigi 311GT was shown at the show. This car has two seats and an aluminum and leather interior. Its maximum speed is 211 miles per hour.

The new Touring Superleggera Disco Volante has a 4.7-liter V8 engine and is based on the Alfa Romeo Competizione coupe. It’s a two-seater with a top speed of 180 miles per hour.

The new Ssangyong Rodius is a seven-seater multipurpose vehicle. It has climate control air conditioning and ABS with Electronic Braje Distribution.

The $3.9 million Lamborghini Veneno was produced in a very limited run of three. The car has a carbon fiber body, scissor doors and a 12-cylinder engine.

Aston Martin presented its new Vanquish at the show. It’s a Centenary Edition with solid sterling silver Aston Martin badges and Deep Soft black leather with silver stitching. centenary edition cars come with a gift box that includes a silver polishing cloth.

The new Alfa Romeo 4C was presented at the show. The chassis of this car is made of a single carbon fiber body. Its outer body material is corrosion resistant and 20 percent lighter than steel.

Rhe Fiat 500e is scheduled for lease this spring. This electric vehicle gets 108 miles per gallon equivalent and is available in an e-Sport Package.

The Rolls-Royce Wraith made its world premiere at the Geneva Motor Show. This car has a 6.6-liter, twin turbo-charged V12 engine. Its four-seat interior features natural grain leather and soft wool carpets.

The new Bentley Motors Flying Spur was presented at the show. It has a 6-liter W12 engine and a top speed of 200 miles per hour. The car’s rear seats include DVD players, LCD screens, and wireless headphones.

The Subaru Viziv Concept made its world premiere in Geneva. It’s a crossover vehicle with a plug-in hybrid powertrain and an independent rear-motor-driven symmetrical all-wheel drive system.

The Audi RS Q3 was shown in Geneva. The Q3 has a maximum speed of 164 miles per hour.

Chinese manufacturer Qoros had its world debut at the Geneva Motor Show. Its premiere model, the compact Qoros 3 Sedan, has an on-board computer with cloud-based connectivity and two-finger “swipe’’ gesture control.

The new Mitsubishi Concept GR-HEV made its world premiere in Geneva. This sport utility truck has a diesel-hybrid engine that aims to achieve best-in-class environmental performance.
