Here’s what to expect from Thursday’s weather forecast

Cooler weather moves into the Boston region during the day on Thursday.

Overnight rain will last into Thursday morning, tapering off by midday and leaving behind cloudy skies and falling temperatures. Morning highs in the 50s will drop into the 40s later in the day, according to forecasters.

Cool temperatures are expected to continue on Friday.
