Wednesday looks to be the mildest day of the work week across the Boston region.

Forecasters are calling for a mostly cloudy day with high temperatures in the upper 50s to low 60s. It’s expected to be cooler in coastal areas.

Rain arrives Wednesday night and the wet weather will extend into Thursday.
