Tuesday will bring mild temperatures and morning showers across the Boston region.

Overnight snow, sleet, and freezing rain will transition to rain for much of the area by Tuesday morning. Most of the precipitation will be gone by afternoon except for a few leftover showers. Highs are expected to reach the 40s in many locations, with parts of southeast Massachusetts possibly making it into the 50s.

Dry, colder weather is expected on Wednesday.
