Wednesday looks quiet, weather-wise across the Boston area, but there are big changes coming by Christmas.

Forecasters expect mostly sunny skies, light winds, and highs in the upper 30s to low 40s.

Christmas Eve starts off cloudy and mild with highs in the 50s. A storm arrives late that day into Christmas morning that is expected to bring heavy rains, possible flooding, and the potential for damaging winds. Temperatures on Christmas day could push into the 60s.
