It looks like a gray day for the Boston region to start off the holiday work week.

Skies will be mostly cloudy on Monday and highs will be in the 30s to low 40s, according to forecasters. There will be chances for showers especially over Cape Cod, Nantucket, and Martha’s Vineyard.
