A severe thunderstorm watch is in effect through Monday morning

Wet, windy weather is set to impact Massachusetts Sunday night as thunderstorms move from the Berkshires through Boston overnight into the early morning hours.
A severe thunderstorm watch is blanketing the state until 2:00 a.m. Monday morning, according to the National Weather Service. Wind gusts up to 60 miles per hour and frequent lightning strikes are possible in the region.
The National Weather Service is warning residents to charge electronic devices, as there is a risk for power outages across the state. As of 12:15 a.m. Monday morning, more than 20,000 customers were already without power.
