The work week ends with a cool, pleasant day across the Boston region.

Forecasters expect plenty of bright sunshine and light winds. It will be quite chilly in the morning, but temperatures will climb to around 60 degrees in the afternoon.

Saturday looks partly cloudy and much warmer, with highs in the mid to upper 70s.
