Thursday will be a cool and windy day across the Boston region.

Forecasters expect sunny skies and high temperatures in the 50s and 60s. Strong, gusty winds will be in place throughout the day and into the evening.

The winds will die down Thursday night as temperatures drop into the 40s near the coast, and the 30s in some inland spots.
