Here’s what to expect from Monday’s weather forecast

Warm and humid, but cooler near the coast.

The work week begins with a couple of warm and humid days in the Boston region.

Monday will feature partly cloudy skies with high temperatures approaching 90 degrees inland, according to forecasters. Areas near the coast will see highs in the low 80s. There will be chances for scattered showers or storms.

Tuesday will be warm as well before fall-like weather arrives on Wednesday.
