The work week will end with more comfortable weather for the Boston region.

Forecasters expect mostly cloudy skies on Friday with high temperatures ranging from the upper 70s to the low 80s. Humidity levels will be low enough to avoid any mugginess. There will be chances for scattered showers, particularly along the south coast, Cape Cod, Martha’s Vineyard, and Nantucket.
