More pleasant, cool weather is on tap for Tuesday in the Boston area.

Skies will be mostly sunny with some gusty winds especially during the morning, according to forecasters. High temperatures will be in the mid 50s along the coast and slightly warmer inland.

Similar conditions are expected on Wednesday.
