Here’s what to expect from Monday’s weather forecast

Heavy rain with potentially damaging wind gusts.

A powerful storm Monday will bring heavy rain and potentially damaging winds to the Boston region.

Showers arrive in the early morning along with gusty winds. By afternoon, the rain will be heavy at times and wind gusts in some spots could reach 60 to 70 mph. It will be mild with high temperatures in the 60s.

The rain moves out Monday night ahead of a partly sunny day on Tuesday.
