The Boston region is in for a blustery, wet Thursday. Expect rain showers to begin in the morning along the coast and eventually work their way west. Winds will be gusty: 35 to 45 miles per hour on Cape Cod, Martha’s Vineyard, and Nantucket, and 25 to 30 miles per hour elsewhere. Temperatures will be mainly in the 40s.

The rain will continue Thursday night into Friday.
