Saturday will begin with a small dose of winter for southeastern Massachusetts, but not long after that, spring-like weather will return.

A storm well off the coast will bring early morning snow and strong winds to Cape Cod, Nantucket, and Martha’s Vineyard. Most of those areas could see two to four inches of snow, while Nantucket could get three to five inches. A dusting is possible in other spots from Boston south and along the coast.

The snow moves out Saturday morning, setting up a partly sunny day with diminishing winds and highs in the upper 30s to lower 40s. Warmer temperatures are ahead for Sunday and Monday.
