You can expect a sunny, cool day for the middle of the work week. The winds will be the big story on Wednesday — gusts could reach 35 to 40 miles per hour. High temperatures will be in the upper 30s for much of the area, with parts of southeastern Massachusetts and Rhode Island making it into the low 40s.

Winds will gradually subside Wednesday night as temperatures fall into the teens. Thursday and Friday look dry and cold.
