Here’s your weekend weather forecast
Our weather this weekend will be a mixed bag, but generally the days will be dry with the exception of late Saturday and early Sunday.Sunshine and chilly FridayA cold front passed through the area Thursday, and that has ushered in Canadian air. This brings us a lot of sunshine for Friday and temperatures in the lower to middle 40s. There will be a gusty wind, which will make it feel colder especially if you’re out of the sun.Best part of Saturday is the morningA fast-moving storm system approaches the area for Saturday. This will create an increase in cloudiness during the morning hours and showers will develop toward sunset. Temperatures will be seasonable reaching around 50. There will be some wind developing in the afternoon as well.
Saturday night will bring the best chance for showers so if you are planning on being out you’ll need the rain gear. Temperatures won’t be very cold so I’m not worried about any ice or anything like that. You can see the rain moving eastward Saturday afternoon and exiting Sunday:

Improvement takes place Sunday
On Sunday, the showers may linger for a few hours in the morning but the trend will be for clearing in the afternoon and it won’t be very cold with temperatures again in the upper 40s to lower 50s.

Dry holiday week
Thereafter the weather does look dry right into Thanksgiving so if you’re planning on traveling next week, at least in New England, things look pretty good.
