🌧️🌨️🧊Messy period of mixed precipitation today-Sat (rain, snow, freezing rain, sleet). Arrives this AM-early PM from west to east continuing through Sat AM. Light icing and snow accumulations will result in slick travel, especially for the interior. #MAwx #RIwx #CTwx pic.twitter.com/5Ldb8NPRsj

FRIDAY…

Grab your wet weather gear. Dry start with a messy mix of sleet, rain and snow to north moves in midday. Primarily wet roads thru sunset turning slippery this evening-tonight as temps drop and we changeover to light snow. #WCVB pic.twitter.com/WyN9dbQJnQ
Happy Friday! We've got a messy mix on the way today. Moves in midday and lasts into tonight. Roads will primarily just be wet and sloppy until after dark this evening. As temps drop we'll see a changeover to more snow with 1-3" overnight. 3-6" farther north. Forecast on #WCVB pic.twitter.com/dfCAdKwfUX

Snow, rain & a wintry mix will arrive this afternoon and peak this evening. Here's what I've got @boston25 #mawx #nhwx #newengland pic.twitter.com/LuHSWsApwq

Still no consensus from the models looking at Monday's snow potential. However, watching the models I tend to favor the Euro's solution of merely brushing the coast with snow. As hi-res models come into view tomorrow we should have a better handle on snowfall totals. pic.twitter.com/E4hj1khs9g

Snow on Friday will combine with rain and sleet. For Boston most of the snow will fall after sunset. Monday is still a question on how close the storm passes to the coast. Best chance for snow is toward the Cape. A little warm up next week with unsettled weather on Thursday. pic.twitter.com/h88eQk1xLZ

Not much snow with this one, unless you're in New Hampshire/Vermont. Mostly a messy mix of scattered flakes, sleet pellets, and rain/freezing rain. Around Boston most of that 1-3" chance is overnight when the colder air returns. #wbz pic.twitter.com/nX7gcYduex

More snow is expected to impact parts of the West Coast, while there's a chance a bomb cyclone can slam the Northeast. Meteorologist @EricFisher is tracking the forecast. pic.twitter.com/3lHD0ZN0mF
