Snow was spotted in Massachusetts on Monday morning.
According to the National Weather Service, a network of observers reported seeing a trace of snowfall in areas around Essex County. The flurries were spotted in Amesbury, Groveland, and Danvers, but no accumulation was reported.
The National Weather Service is forecasting that more precipitation may be on its way, though it will be in the form of rain on Tuesday evening as a warm front arrives. Rain might again be in the forecast late Thursday into Friday.

The snow sighting comes as smoke from wildfires in Eastern Massachusetts, parts of which are experiencing a mild drought, blankets large parts of the North Shore and Boston’s metro area.
