What Boston meteorologists are saying about Thursday’s heavy rain

Local meteorologists say heavier rain is on tap for Thursday after a wet Wednesday.

“More widespread showers and a few t-storms will develop later tonight into (Thursday) night,” the National Weather Service said. “Locally heavy rainfall is possible which could result in minor urban and poor drainage street flooding.”

The rain is expected to clear by Friday.
