The National Weather Service has issued a heat advisory for most of Massachusetts lasting from 11 a.m. Thursday to 8 p.m. Friday.
Meteorologists predict potential record-breaking heat on Friday with temperatures reaching the upper 90s and a chance of thunderstorms.
