Tornado warning issued on Cape, severe thunderstorms predicted for Nantucket
The tornado warning was planned to last until noon Monday.
Update: A funnel cloud was confirmed in Aquinnah on Martha’s Vineyard, according to the National Weather Service.

A tornado warning was issued for South Yarmouth, Yarmouth Port, and West Yarmouth until noon on Monday, according to the National Weather Service.
The service noted that penny-sized hail was possible.

A severe thunderstorm warning was also issued for South Yarmouth, Yarmouth Port and East Harwich until 12:30 p.m., the service said.

A severe thunderstorm warning was also issued for Nantucket, Siasconset and Madaket until 12:30 p.m. with the potential for winds up to 60 miles per hour and hail, as well, according to the service.
