Map: See which towns were hit hardest by last night’s wind storm

Forecasters are predicting Monday will see “much more quiet” weather than the severe thunderstorms that swept across Massachusetts with wet and windy conditions on Sunday evening. The storm brought down trees and power lines in multiple towns and cities. As of 8:30 a.m. Monday morning, more than 4,000 power outages were reported across the state, according to MEMA. Wind gusts were recorded at 60 mph in the Blue Hills, while the Westover Air Reserve Base recorded gusts at 64 mph, according to the National Weather Service. Wind gusts were recorded at 65 mph in Provincetown.Monday, according to service meteorologists, will see dry but “chilly and blustery” conditions with a cold front expected Tuesday through Wednesday night.See a map of the reported fallen trees, downed power lines, and documented wind gusts below:
