Here’s what to expect from this week’s weather, according to local meteorologists
“Mother Nature is just trying to keep us all home during this quarantine."
While this past weekend brought sunny skies and mild weather to the Greater Boston region, temperatures are expected to begin to dip on Monday with the rest of the week predicted to be much cooler, according to the National Weather Service.Monday is predicted to be in the mid-60s in Boston while Tuesday’s high is on the mid-to-upper 50s.“You’re also dealing with more in the way of clouds Tuesday,” Torry Gaucher, a meteorologist with the service told Boston.com. “And then that coolish trend stays with us as we go into Wednesday with temperatures in the low-to-mid 50s.”
Another great day to get outside with mild temperatures expected. Will see a few showers coming to an end this morning. Cloud cover decreasing as the day progresses. Temperatures trending near to below normal for the rest of the week. #mawx #ctwx #riwx pic.twitter.com/CN5km7Twya

Conditions are similar for Thursday and into Friday, he noted.
By early Saturday morning, Boston is predicted to be in the upper 30s to 40 while the Worcester area is predicted to be in the mid-30s. For the Berkshires, temperatures are predicted to reach just the mid-to-upper 20s, according to Gaucher. This could mean “a few wet [snow] flakes” for the Berkshires.
“Mother Nature is just trying to keep us all home during this quarantine,” Gaucher said.
Along with dropping temperatures, the weather is predicted to be a bit unsettled, he noted. This means there’s a chance for light rain showers Thursday headed into Friday.

“I should also mention that it won’t be this nice again until mid-month, so yeah,” WBZ-TV meteorologist Eric Fisher said.
